The Law Offices of Richard L. Pullano secured a $3.67 million for a 34-year-old pipefitter injured by a chemical spill causing burns to 30 percent of his body.
The plaintiff was walking under a 2nd-floor mezzanine grating when approximately 1-2 gallons of 90% sulfuric acid spilled onto him. The burns covered 30% of his body, some of which included full thickness burns that required split thickness skin grafting surgeries. The settlement was the highest settlement in the state of Illinois for a chemical burn case.
