Richard Pullano Receives AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell

CHICAGO (November 4, 2021) – In recognition of his professional excellence, legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards, Pullano Law founding partner Richard Pullano has received a 2022 AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He notched a perfect 5.0 out of 5.0 in his peer reviews.

Martindale-Hubbell, which has evaluated attorneys through a Peer Review Rating system for more than 130 years, currently does so through a secure online survey. The AV Preeminent rating is the highest peer rating standard from Martindale-Hubbell, signifying that the attorney in question has been rated “very high” in the aforementioned characteristics and has been practicing for at least 10 years.

“I am honored and humbled by this recognition from Martindale-Hubbell,” said Mr. Pullano. “It’s especially gratifying to know how well my peers think of my practice. We work hard and work smart every day for our clients, all of whom have been through challenging life situations and deserve our compassion—and as much compensation for their travails as we can garner for them. More than any award, that’s what gets my colleagues and I excited and impassioned.”

Mr. Pullano, who has practiced personal injury law since 1987 after serving in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, handles the gamut of cases including transportation liability, medical malpractice, construction negligence, nursing home negligence and many others. His firm has secured more than $150 million in compensation for its clients, including a record-breaking $14 million settlement for the victim of a horrendous tow-truck accident that rendered Mr. Pullano’s client paraplegic.

A former president of the North Suburban Bar Association, Mr. Pullano also has received recognition as an Illinois Super Lawyer for each of the past 15 years and has been named an Illinois Leading Lawyer by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. He is a 1982 graduate of the DePaul University College of Law and received his bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame in 1979.
